Michael Colburn serves as Vice President, Chief Engineer, and head of Commercial Sales at Dime Water, Inc. With a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a career spanning over five decades, Mike brings unmatched expertise to every project. He works closely with customers to recommend and quote the most effective systems, designs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, procures materials, oversees production, and ensures top-tier post-sale support.

Mike’s career began in product design for Sunbeam Corporation and a division of Johnson Controls, where he earned patents for innovations in the medical, consumer, and automotive sectors. He entered the water treatment industry in 1968 with Calgon Corp., and has since held senior engineering and sales roles at Rheem/Ruud, Autotrol Corp., and Goulds Corp., where he served as COO of a global water treatment division. His hands-on experience, international perspective, and engineering precision continue to shape Dime Water’s reputation for quality and innovation.
