How Does All Clear™ Work?
Fast, versatile and easy to use, CamelBak’s bottle effectively neutralizes microbiological contaminants without introducing chemicals and purifies water not only to stringent EPA standards, but to CamelBak’s standards of safety and performance too. Reducing bacteria by 99.9999%, viruses by 99.99% and protozoan cysts by 99.9%, the bottle integrates powerful UV technology into an energy-efficient cap, delivering optimum UV exposure at the press of a button.
The shock-resistant cap is fitted with an energy-efficient bulb that lasts 10,000 cycles, allowing the user to treat 80 cycles or 16 gallons with each charge. The bulb is insulated, which makes it possible to retain efficacy even with exposure to cold water temperatures down to 39°F. And last, an LCD screen provides clear read-outs, which makes it even more simple.
